Bombers Full Cheek Waterford Barrel

These are brand new bits! Bombers Full Cheek Waterford Barrel Bit. The Full Cheek cheekpiece will prevent pinching on the sides of the mouth, and the extended pins above and below the bit, firstly prevent the bit being pulled through the mouth and secondly aid guiding the horse’s head which is great for schooling purposes. As with the Eggbutt, the release is slower than the loose ring and also introduces light poll pressure. The Waterford Barrel has a few smooth flexible cylindrical components which spread the pressure points making it a light mouthpiece. Cheekpiece The cheekpiece is available in 2 sizes, standard and a slightly smaller model for a pony. Mouthpiece The Waterford is usually worn ¼” – ½” or 5mm – 10mm longer than your traditional mouthpiece in order to curve around the tongue and maximise the effect.
