Bombers 2 1/2 Ring Waterford

These are brand new bits! Bombers 2.5  (two and a half) Ring Waterford Bit A ring cheek piece introduces poll pressure as well as creating leverage on the mouthpiece, the 2 1/2 Ring version is the softest out of the 3 or 4 ring alternatives as the 1/2 ring softens the leverage on the mouthpiece and poll. The Waterford bit has many smooth flexible bobbles which spread the pressure making it a light mouthpiece. The greater flexibility discourages a horse from leaning on it, it also promotes mouthing and salivation. The Waterford is usually worn 5mm – 10mm longer than your traditional mouthpiece in order to curl around the tongue and maximise the effect.
